Mr Dilba’s Mystery Reader Series got off to a great start last week. Mystery guest reader, HSA Co-President Carrie Coughlin presented books by two of her favorite authors for children, ‘Chopsticks’ by Amy Krause Rosenthal and ‘The Popcorn Book’ by Tomie de Paola. Rosenthal’s book is a tale that celebrates independence and the unbreakable bonds of friendship. Paola’s book is a what and how to cook popcorn with recipes and interesting legends. The students received a take home recipe after their entertaining read aloud adventure! Can’t wait to hear who tomorrow’s mystery reader is! Do you want to be a mystery reader or do you know someone who would like to take part in this Friday adventure? Please see the description and available guest dates further on in this newsletter.
